Happy new year! Many exciting things to look forward to in 2016.
Fitness is my passion. but I also enjoy reading, now blogging, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. I’m a personal trainer at a commercial gym and started powerlifting this past August. I started my blog about a month ago because I wanted to keep a personal log of workouts and nutrition for myself. Since October I’ve been keeping track of everything in a spiral notebook, but soon ran out of pages. I thought to myself, I should keep a log on the computer because it may be easier and I definitely wouldn’t have the issue of running out of paper. That idea eventually developed into a blog. I want my blog to not only be a personal reference but to help inform, educate, and bring new ideas to other fitness enthusiast. I know what I blog about isn’t for everyone, but my goal is to improve my way of writing to attract people who may not always read or follow fitness blogs. I also include summaries and my personal opinion of whatever book I’m reading at the moment (usually YA books) and recent recipes I’ve tried.
I just recently deleted all social media, so I am excited to dedicate more time to my blog and connect with the other bloggers. We all have different interests, but clearly have blogging in common so I’m looking forward to learning about myself and everyone else!
I’m also an Uber driver in my spare time, and am currently studying for my nutrition certification through ACE. I will be going back to school this semester for Business Management. I want to work for myself and be a private trainer eventually.
